An ongoing archival process and collection point for both current and vintage Low Res media. There's some laughable stuff up there already and it's all still a pretty new effort. Official event flyer archive and plenty of other stuff that probably won't have a reason to find it's way on to the official (mockery of a) website.

"...If you're familiar with either c64 or Low Res, you have a pretty good idea of what to expect. If you're not down with either, you're in for a full on crunchcore assault assembled by one of the more in tune with the music DJs in breakcore/hardcore. ."

HIMAWARI has been chosen as the winner for Best Experimental Japanese Band by the readers of Shojo Beat magazine! In the June 2009 issue, Himawari received a landslide 78% of the vote to lock down the experimental category, flattening the competition with a brutal KO in the first round! AWESOME.
[7:39 am] Lowest Moments, a mixed compilation of tracks on the Low Res label, mixed by C64. This is a mash-up of 26 tracks from the excellent Low Res in Detroit, mixing sounds of hardcore breakbeat, industrial, and speed-glitch, touching most of the major releases from the label's first ten years in operation.

[7:46 am] In the first four tracks on this, C64 has brought together label head Adjust, Venetian Snares, Bombardier, and I:Gor, all easily identifiable as Low Res artists and all classics in their own rights. A record like Lowest Moments makes me want to immediately purchase the entire back catalog. I'm going to resist this time, but so far this album has been all gravy.

"C64 hailing from Toronto is one of my super heroes. He keeps the faith in straight Breakcore music and invests time, money and heart blood in this music. As a Dj, musician and label chief he always searches the boundaries of electronic music and merges styles together to create something new.

Celebrating its ten-year anniversary Low Res Records, the pathbreaking pioneers of Breakcore from Detroit, links up with C64 and his wonderful Drosstik label to release a very special album."
