"There's a lot of people making noise out there, but none, in my estimation, makes it with quite the same cinematic verve as Jonas Johansson... ...Johansson is still experimenting with the collision between organic synthesizer melodies and cataclysmic noise explosions, still punishing boundaries in an effort to break everything down into a single orgiastic implosion of melody and chaos... ...Tarmvred will scare your neighbors. Tarmvred makes squirrels fall out of trees. Tarmvred raises blisters. Johansson makes noise like no one else and he's just getting better with every record."

"Here are four tracks full of definitely rougher stuff than before, tracks on which the level of events has had a chance to multiply without any loss of those familiar elements that make Tarmvred sound like itself. The opening track of the A-side, "Oskulden", is the strongest piece of Tarmvred material ever, a flawless combination of all the different elements that make rhythmic noise so very familiar and yet unique. The complex structure contains danceable bass beats, 90's trance melodies and energetic impurity...
...This is an essential purchase for friends of intelligent rhythmic noise. Something completely different than all the routine albums that simply drop beats on top of small noise, the ones seemingly flooding the rhythmic noise markets today. A very fine, multi-faceted experience."
